Ahead of the event, guests shared personal reflections on what outside meant to them. Their words became the foundation of an original poem by Kareem Parkins-Brown, performed live after a guided neighbourhood run that encouraged connection, curiosity and collective discovery.

The afternoon continued with a PLAY-led movement and massage workshop exploring nervous system regulation, gentle stretching and embodied awareness, before closing with drinks and a DJ set. Blending running, poetry and community participation, the event reflected PLAY’s belief that movement can create genuine moments of belonging.
