  • Art in motion

PLAY is a collective built around a simple belief: that play shouldn’t disappear as we get older.

In a world shaped by speed, screens, and constant output, moments of presence are increasingly rare. By fusing movement with the creative arts, PLAY creates space to slow down, tune inward, and reconnect – to the body, to curiosity, and to each other. This is where we present Art in motion

OUR VALUES
Exploration

We are curious by nature, like that kid that never stops asking “but why”? We don’t settle for what we are told, instead driven by discovery and growth.

Movement

Emotion and latent energy is stored in the body. We use movement as our guiding force - allowing release and facilitating connection to the body & our environment.

Community

A family of like-minded people working to harness their most authentic & true self. That is what you’ll find at PLAY.

Arts

Self-expression is a powerful and liberating practice. We invite this to be showcased, shared and practiced through each of our events.

A player
by nature

India Bailey is an ex-athlete turned coach, event curator, and wellness editor for sports, style, and culture magazine CircleZeroEight.

Her work spans over two decades across movement, wellness, and cultural programming, including 15 years designing movement-led and creative experiences for brands such as Soho House, Technogym, Lululemon, Patreon, and Airbnb. Having spent years in environments shaped by performance and optimisation, India became increasingly interested in what gets lost when everything is measured – curiosity, presence, creativity and true connection to self.

PLAY brings together her experience in movement and creative direction to create spaces that feel less about output and more about experience. Through this work, she continues to explore alternative ways of moving, creating, and the importance of an offline community – one that makes room for play, individuality, discovery and the feeling of… well, being human.

Play

Is for

Everyone

It’s a space that meets you where you are whether you’re new to movement and curious to explore in a safe, welcoming environment, or a seasoned mover, athlete, or performance-driven person looking to soften, release, and reconnect beyond results.

Play doesn’t end when the session does.

PLAY creates ripple effects in how you feel, connect, and create. We believe play isn’t something we should abandon as we get older; it should be prioritised and protected as a vital part of life.

No experience required. No expectations to meet.

Sophie

Watching Play in action is magic, India is warm and open. She has created a safe space for people to enjoy movement together and release their inhibitions! Being able to perform poetry to a group of people during their meditation was incredible, so glad I got to share my words and share this experience in such a powerful space

They were professional and deeply attuned to the vibe of the event, making the experience seamless for our team and unforgettable for our guests.

After having a pretty hard week it was so refreshing to finish my Sunday feel lighter, joyful and en energised. Every Play event I have been to has brought my inner peace, fun and joy in a city can feel so serious and hectic. It's inspiring to be around people that are looking to reconnect to their inner child.

Play is like stepping into another realm, where you can escape day to day pressures and feel like you’re in someone else’s hands. It was a fun and energising experience that made me glad I could avail of something so unique

Aisha Paris Smith

’m so done with exercise classes that are rigid, superficially motivated and dry. PLAY is none of those things. I go to release my anger, let out my laughter and to get out of my head into my body. I always cry a little and I always leave feeling both soft and strong. I make friends every time and I leave feeling like I’ve worked out my body and my heart. Highly recommend it.
